Planters & Flower Pots

Choose a planter by drainage and size first: pick a pot slightly wider than the plant's current root ball, and check whether it has a hole in the base or needs a nursery pot inside. Material, and whether the pot sits on a surface or hangs, come after that.

Bloombowl is a ceramic flower pot with a stated 9 cm bottom diameter. Rootclay is a ceramic pot listed for succulents, with an 8–9 cm bottom diameter. If you want a hanging planter, Ironhang is an iron pot with holes at the bottom that lists hanging and wall-mounted use. For a self-watering planter, Rootsip describes a resin pot with an inner basket and cotton rope; the other self-watering listings say only that the pot is self-absorbing, without explaining how.

The collection also holds plastic and PP flower pots, transparent resin pots, a cement pot, woven straw pot baskets and a cotton rope hanger sold without a pot.

Many listings omit the top diameter, the height, whether there is a drainage hole, whether a saucer is included and how many pots ship. If a listing names several sizes or colours but offers one option, ask which one ships before ordering. Ceramic and cement pots are heavy once filled with wet soil, and a pot or basket without a hole works best as an outer cover. None of these listings says a live plant is included.
