Same street. One of them is melting. Haven is a UPF 50+ umbrella that opens in one press and clips to your bag, so you can change the light you are standing in.

Hard sun: flushed cheeks, a hot neck, shoulders that feel tight by evening.
Shade, one step away: the same pavement, with the light turned down.
Nothing about you is different. Only where you are standing. And the street decides that, not you: the shade is on the wrong side, it stops at the junction, and the morning sunscreen has worn off by the time the sun is highest.
So we made Haven. It is a compact umbrella with a UPF 50+ canopy that clips to your bag and opens in one press, so the light is yours to change.
Think of it as changing the light, not your skin.

One press to open. One press to close. Clips to a bag.

Carried in the UAE
UPF 50+ shade for a UAE midday.
UPF 50 fabric blocks 98% of UV. Shade that folds to 40 cm and clips to a bag.
An extra layer of shade alongside your sunscreen.
A black under-layer that blocks 98% of UV before it reaches you.
Up in a second with one hand, down again at the door.
A carabiner handle that clips to bags, straps and hooks.
Same minute
Nothing about you changes. Only the light.
One step into shade is the fastest change you can make on a hot day.
Put two people on the same pavement at the same minute. One is in hard light. One is a single step to the side, in shade. You can tell them apart from across the road:
“How are you not melting?”
It is not their skin. It is not their sunscreen. It is where they are standing.
Hard light is direct sun with nothing in the way. It flushes cheeks, heats shoulders and makes everyone squint. Shade is the same day with the light turned down. Same street. Same minute. A different ten minutes.
So the only question on a hot pavement is a short one: Where is the shade, and can it come with me?
It never has. Buildings throw it on one side of the road. Trees are where the planners put them. Bus stops, crossings, school gates and car parks have none.
So we built shade that comes along. A UPF 50+ canopy with a black UV-blocking under-layer, a button that opens it in one press and a carabiner handle that clips to a bag. Advised by a materials scientist, shaped by a design engineer.
Water-repellent pongee on top, black UV-blocking layer underneath.
We called it Haven.
A compact UPF 50+ umbrella made to be carried every day, so hard light is a choice, not a forecast.
It is made in Japan, folds to 40 cm / 15.75 in and weighs about 390 g. A change of light, small enough to hang from a bag strap.

Questions? Message Us On WhatsAppHard light on the pavement outside the office. Narrowed eyes, warm shoulders, a flush you can feel.
One press. The same pavement and the same you, under 105 cm / 41.3 in of UPF 50+ shade.
Lunch, feeling the way you did when you left your desk. The pavement outside is still in hard light.
Already wear sunscreen every day? Keep going. Haven does not replace it. It covers the hours after the morning layer has worn off, and the spots sunscreen tends to miss.
*An umbrella adds overhead shade. Light also reaches you from the sides and off pavements, so keep using sunscreen on exposed skin. An umbrella does not treat or prevent any skin condition.

Sunny days are not the problem. Standing still in hard light is: the crossing, the queue, the bus stop, the school gate.
Shade fixes that in a second, when there is some.
Haven is one umbrella you clip on once. Nothing to plan and nothing to reapply. Here is how the usual options compare at one in the afternoon.
We did not build Haven to replace your sunscreen. We built it to change the light you are standing in.

Common questions about the Haven Umbrella.
No. A UPF 50+ canopy adds overhead shade, but light also reaches skin from the sides and off pavements. Keep using sunscreen on exposed skin. An umbrella does not treat or prevent any skin condition.
UPF is the rating for fabric. UPF 50 fabric blocks 98% of the sun’s UV and lets through one fiftieth, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation. Haven’s canopy has a black UV-blocking under-layer rated UPF 50+.
It folds to 40 cm / 15.75 in long and 5 cm / 2 in wide and weighs about 390 g. The carabiner handle also clips to the outside of a bag, strap or hook.
The canopy opens to 105 cm / 41.3 in across, enough overhead shade for head, neck and shoulders, and one more press closes it again.
Add three umbrellas to your cart and the third is free, with no code. You can choose a different colour for each, and you also get FREE silicone shoe covers. Every umbrella comes with a FREE absorbent carry sleeve.
