Scattered objects read as mess; the same objects on a tray read as intention. Timber™ is the trick interior stylists have used forever, cut from solid wood with a raised turned lip. Set it on the coffee table and the remote, the matches and the candle become a composition. Put it on the ottoman and it becomes a firm, level surface for two cups. The deep walnut-toned grain does the visual work — and because it's one solid piece, it carries real weight without flexing, from a stack of books to a full breakfast.

Care

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately — don't soak or dishwash solid wood. A light coat of food-safe wood oil every few months keeps the grain rich.

Materials

Solid wood turned in one round piece, finished in a deep walnut tone that shows the natural grain. The raised lip is part of the same cut — no joins, no veneer edges to peel.
