The control panel produces light even when off. Style: With APP via Bluetooth It has light from the control panel that disrupts the night darkness. Even after putting black tape on it, it still emits light. The previous version did not hamper the dark. The control via app is good but I wish I could turn this stupid backlight off. One would think this is basic functionality for a product to do with sleep - produce light only when set up to do so and go completely dark otherwise )

It is great. Wakes me gently Sunday-Friday.. Style: With APP via Bluetooth I have it on a very bright setting and around 509 each morning. I let it come on for an hour. It is about 2 feet from my pillow and the light is very pleasant. So I wake in a much more natural way with light rather than the noise from my phone alarm. I just now set it a little later to better Align with the sunrise. I was doing the based on a sleep doctor’s recommendation, but I didn’t expect to find a device this good at reasonable price. Very important. The app is called Bioset Lamp. I forgot that at first because it doesn’t match the name of the product. A very good app. )

Style: With APP via Bluetooth I’ve been using this lamp (without the app- I lost the instructions) for months now and it has completely changed my morning routine. If you are someone who has a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, this will help. It really does wake up your brain - \*\*silently\*\*. I still use my regular alarms on my watch (goes off ~30 mins after the light), and phone (~45 mins after the light as my final GET UP OR ELSE!!), but this light quietly turns on at the set time I programmed, and typically by the time my watch is going off I am already naturally awake. As a chronically late adhd person, this is a must!! I recommend it to all of my friends and family who struggle with getting out of bed. I wish I had it when I was a teenager! )

Perfect alarm. Style: With APP via Bluetooth App is simple to use and this device has been very effective as an alarm. I have the light only alarm go first, back up alarm of birds chirping 5 min later, then a louder toned alarm another 5 min later. I find i typically wake up from the light alone. So glad i got this instead of the other sunrise alarms that arent nearly as bright. )

The fabric texture looks like a proper linen lamp, not a gadget. Dimmed low it gives the whole corner a candle-ish glow that matches our oak nightstand perfectly.

We used to fall asleep to a phone speaker. Now it's steady rain from the linen dome and both phones charge in the kitchen. Our four-year-old calls it the sun ball.

The room is already golden when the sound starts, so waking up feels like surfacing instead of being yanked. Three weeks in and I haven't hit snooze once.
