Ember™ is a hand-finished glass globe that glows like the last minute of a sunset. Fifteen centimetres of warm orange glass on a polished steel base, dimmed from a switch on the cord through three warmth levels — bright enough to read by, low enough to fall asleep to.

Overview

Some lamps light a room; Ember™ changes its temperature. The 15 cm orange glass globe glows evenly from within — no visible bulb, no hot spots — and pours a low, amber warmth across linen, oak and plaster the way the last sun of the day does. A small switch on the cord steps through three colour temperatures, from a clear reading light down to a deep candle-amber for the hour before sleep. It runs on any USB power source, so it is as happy on a headboard shelf as on a desk or a windowsill, and at 18 cm tall it fits where full-size lamps will not.

Care

Dust the globe with a dry microfibre cloth; fingerprints lift with a barely-damp one. Unplug before cleaning. It is glass — place it where it will not be knocked, and unpack it over something soft the day it arrives.

Is it bright enough to read by?
Yes — the brightest of the three settings is a comfortable reading light at arm's length. The lower two are mood settings for winding down.
How do the three colour temperatures work?
A small switch on the cord clicks through them: a clear warm white, a golden mid tone, and a deep amber. No app, no remote — one button you can find with your eyes closed.
What does it plug into?
Any USB-A power source — a phone charger, a laptop, a power bank or the USB port on many headboards. A wall adapter is not included.
Is the orange visible when the lamp is off?
Yes — off, it reads as a glossy amber-orange glass sphere on a chrome base, a deliberate object in daylight. On, the colour deepens and glows from within.
Can I replace the bulb?
