Frequently asked questions
How is this different from stacking regular pillows behind me?
Stacked pillows flatten within 20–30 minutes and let you slide into a slouch — that's where the back and neck strain comes from. The Haven™ is structured: a 35D core that holds shape under body weight, a lumbar curve that keeps the spine's S-shape, a 105-degree angle, and armrests at the right height. Support that's still there two hours in.
I work on my laptop in bed sometimes. Will it support that?
Yes — the angle and lumbar support prevent laptop slouch, and the armrests sit at typing height, 8 inches apart, which noticeably reduces shoulder strain. Pair it with a lap desk for the laptop itself. For sessions beyond 2 hours, take breaks; a desk is still the right tool for full workdays.
I have chronic lower back pain. Will it help or make it worse?
For postural lower-back pain, the lumbar curve and 105-degree angle usually help by preventing the slouch that aggravates it. If your pain comes from a specific condition — herniated disc, stenosis, sciatica — ask your doctor or physio first, and stop if pain increases.
Can I sleep on it overnight, or is it only for sitting?
It's built for upright sessions of 1–4 hours. Some people sleep semi-upright on it when medically needed (reflux, breathing issues, post-surgery) — add a pillow under the knees and neck support if so. For ordinary overnight sleep, a proper cervical pillow serves you better.
It looks large. Will it take over my bed?
It's 22 in tall × 18 in wide × 12 in deep — about a pillow's width, with more depth. On a queen or king it sits comfortably against the headboard; on smaller beds it's manageable but present. Store it upright, never compressed or folded.
