Quarry™ is that object: a wide, low bowl carved from a single block of natural marble, thirty-five centimetres across, with the weight and cool of real quarried stone. Fill it with fruit and it earns its keep at breakfast; leave it empty and it's sculpture. Either way, the room stops looking like it's waiting for something.

Dust with a dry cloth; clean with a barely-damp cloth and dry straight after. Keep acids — citrus juice, vinegar, wine — off bare stone, or wipe them up promptly. Lift with both hands; it's heavier than it looks.
