Frequently asked questions
I change between my back and my side. Which height do I use?
Begin with the higher 12 cm side. It fills the gap above the shoulder when you lie on your side and gives a little extra lift on your back, which suits most combination sleepers. If that feels too high on your back, turn it to the 10 cm side.
It looks firm. Will it be uncomfortable?
It uses 50D foam, which is firmer than an ultra-soft pillow, and that is intended: the firmness is what keeps the neck in line. Most people adjust in 3–5 nights and prefer it by the second week. If you are coming from a very soft pillow, give it a full week.
I sit at a computer all day. Is this the right pillow?
It holds the neck in its natural C-shaped curve overnight, so the neck muscles can relax. Many people find it more comfortable after 2–3 weeks of regular use. Combine it with daytime habits: an ergonomic desk and regular breaks.
Can I use it if I have a neck injury?
Ask your doctor or physical therapist first. They can tell you whether a contoured pillow is suitable for you and whether the 10 cm or the 12 cm height is the right one.
How does Even™ differ from the other CalmEden cervical pillows?
Even™ has two heights, is firmer (50D) and more compact, and holds a more pronounced contour, which suits people who want structured support. The softer CalmEden cervical pillows have a wider, gentler head cradle and suit sleepers who put comfort first and change position often.
