Overview

Everyone who reads, scrolls or takes breakfast in bed knows the ritual: stack two pillows, lean back, feel them slide, stack again. Lean™ retires the ritual. It's a full-width triangular wedge — about 150 cm across — that sits between mattress and headboard like a bank of soft upholstery, its tufted face deep enough to cradle shoulders and lower back at once. The angle holds you at a natural sitting recline, the side pocket keeps a phone in reach, and when you're done it simply stays put, making the whole bed look finished. Hard headboard, metal frame or bare wall: one wedge fixes all three.

Care

Unzip the cover and machine-wash cool; air-dry. Plump the core by hand and air it in shade between washes.

Materials

A supportive foam-and-fibre triangular core in a soft tufted cover with piped edges, side phone pocket and full-length zip for removal and washing. ≈ 150 cm wide — sized for queen beds.

The soft side of the bed

Against oak and oatmeal linen, Lean™ reads as upholstery — a headboard's warmth without the joinery.

Lean back, stay back

The wedge angle holds a true sitting recline for the last chapter, the first coffee and everything between.

Lean™ Headboard Wedge Pillow — bed-wide back support, deep button tufting, side pocket

Why Lean

A full-width triangle of supportive fill — geometry that does what a stack of pillows keeps promising and never delivers.

Reading hour is back

We have a metal bed frame that ate pillows nightly. The wedge fills the whole gap — I lean back with a book and nothing moves, including me.

Made the bed look built-in

The oat colour against our linen looks like upholstery that came with the bed. Guests assume it's a custom headboard.

My lower back approves

I work from bed some mornings (no shame) and used to pay for it by noon. The wedge keeps me upright instead of curled — the difference is obvious.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my bed?
At roughly 150 cm wide it spans a queen bed edge-to-edge and sits handsomely centred on a king. It rests between mattress and headboard — or against the wall if you have none.
Is it firm enough to actually lean on?
Yes — the core is supportive foam-and-fibre, so it holds its triangle under full body weight instead of swallowing you like a soft pillow.
Does it slide around?
Its own weight and the mattress pressure hold it in place. Unlike stacked pillows, it has nowhere to go.
Can I wash it?
The full cover unzips and machine-washes cool. Air-dry and zip it back on — ten minutes, fresh backrest.
What's the pocket for?
A side sleeve sized for a phone, reading glasses or the remote — the things that otherwise vanish into the duvet.
How does it ship?
Compressed in a compact box. Unbox it, give the core a day and a few plumps, and it rises to full wedge.

Better than what illustration depicts. My two queen size Headboard pillows fits both our beds perfectly. They stay in position when used as a headboard cushion for reading or TV viewing. Very comfortable. It’s more than just a “pillow”; it’s a great addition to any bed, with or without a headboard.

This product is very well made. It appears to be as pictured. HOWEVER the highly compressed packaging renders it unacceptable. I have spent 24 hours letting it relax on its own and a total of 3 hours kneading and massaging trying to shape it. And it is still just a lump sitting at the head of my bed. I'm hoping patience will make it better but I'm afraid I would recommend passing.

I thought it was going to be taller than it is. It is fine, though. I made it work for me and am happy with it.

I ordered it and it arrived the next day! I have one and I bought this one for my boyfriend. He loves it too. The pockets in the side come in handy for TV remotes and such. Very soft fabric and the color was spot on! I would buy this again for sure!

This pillow beat expectations. I use a daybed as my couch and have used lots of different pillows to allow for some back support. This wedge pillow has been the best solution.
