Whatever the hour, it turns a bare surface into a finished one without rearranging a thing.

Overview

Scattered objects read as mess; the same objects on a tray read as intention. Timber™ is the trick interior stylists have used forever, cut from solid wood with a raised turned lip. Set it on the coffee table and the remote, the matches and the candle become a composition. Put it on the ottoman and it becomes a firm, level surface for two cups. The deep walnut-toned grain does the visual work — and because it's one solid piece, it carries real weight without flexing, from a stack of books to a full breakfast.

Care

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately — don't soak or dishwash solid wood. A light coat of food-safe wood oil every few months keeps the grain rich.

Materials

Solid wood turned in one round piece, finished in a deep walnut tone that shows the natural grain. The raised lip is part of the same cut — no joins, no veneer edges to peel.

Built to be used

Solid wood, a raised lip and zero flex — carry coffee on it, rest a teapot on it, let it live on the ottoman. It's a tool that happens to be beautiful.

The nightstand finally makes sense

Watch, glasses, lip balm, ring — they used to sprawl. Now they live on the small Timber and the surface looks curated instead of chaotic. The grain is gorgeous up close.

Sturdy enough for actual serving

I carry two full mugs and a plate of toast up the stairs on the large one every weekend. Zero flex, and the lip has saved a sliding mug more than once.

Reads far more expensive than it is

It's the same style tray I kept saving from interiors accounts — candles and a tiny vase on the ottoman. Friends assume it came from a boutique.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose?
Small (Ø 20 cm) suits a nightstand, dresser or bathroom counter. Large (Ø 28.5 cm) is the coffee-table and ottoman size — it holds a candle trio, a vase and the remote with room left.
Can I serve food and drinks on it?
Yes — it's rigid solid wood with a raised lip. Wipe up spills promptly and it will serve breakfast for years.
Is it one solid piece or veneer?
One solid turned round — the lip and base are the same piece of wood, so there are no seams or veneer edges to lift.
Will the grain look like the photos?
The tone will — the exact grain pattern won't, because every piece is cut from different wood. Yours is one of one.
How do I keep it looking rich?
Wipe dry after spills and rub in a little food-safe wood oil every few months — five minutes that keeps the walnut tone deep.
Can it live in a bathroom?
Yes — as a perfume-and-soap tray it's excellent. Just keep it out of standing water and dry it after splashes, as with any solid wood.

We are still adding those final decorative touches to the living room in our new house and this acacia wood tray fits perfectly into that clean and minimalist aesthetic. The size is really good because it is not too big and not too small so it sits perfectly on the coffee table without taking up all the usable space. You can see in the photo I uploaded how it looks holding a candle and some small plants. The overall appearance is fantastic and the color of the wood is rich and warm which adds a nice premium touch to the room. Ease of use is obviously great since you just set it down and start decorating. I am giving it four stars because while the material looks beautiful it feels just a little bit lighter than I expected for solid wood. I am hoping the long term durability holds up well if we ever decide to use it to actually serve drinks instead of just holding light decor. Overall it offers very solid value for money if you want a quick and stylish centerpiece.

I am absolutely thrilled with this round wooden serving tray! I bought it specifically to place on top of my large, plush ottoman, and it has completely transformed the space. It adds both functionality and a huge dose of rustic elegance.

I honestly wasn’t expecting it to look this nice in person. The tray feels sturdy and the color is exactly like the pictures. I used it as a centerpiece on my dining table with candles and flowers and it made my space look so much more cozy and elegant.
