No more squinting across dinner
We had a bare bulb on a cord before and you genuinely could not look at the person opposite. The little inner dome fixes exactly that. Light on the table, nothing in your eyes.

Bought three for the island
Measured first — 23 cm each meant I could space three along a 1.8 m island without them crowding. Putty is a warm greige, not a cold grey, which is what I was worried about.

Heavier metal than I expected
The lacquer is properly glossy and even, and the cord shortened easily at the canopy. Electrician had it up in ten minutes. I did swap the bulb for a warmer one.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the shade?
23 cm wide and 16 cm tall (9.1 × 6.3 in), with a 10 cm ceiling canopy. It's a small pendant — one suits a two- to four-seat table, two or three suit an island.
How far does it hang down?
The cord is 1.5 m and adjusts shorter at the canopy, so you can drop it low over a table or lift it clear of a walkway.
Is a bulb included?
Yes — an E27 bulb ships with the light. If you want the golden tone shown in our photographs, swap it for a 2700K warm-white E27; the fitting takes any standard E27.
Why is there a second dome inside?
That's the bud, and it's the whole design. It sits directly beneath the bulb so the filament is hidden from a seated eye-line, and the light bounces off it and the white inner dome before it reaches the table — a soft pool instead of glare.
Can I install it myself?
It's a hard-wired ceiling fitting, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician. It mounts at a standard ceiling rose position and the canopy covers the fixing.
Which colour should I pick?
White and Putty recede: Putty is a warm greige against oak and limewash, White all but disappears into a pale ceiling. Onyx and Pine do the opposite — they read as a full stop over a table. Terracotta, Ochre and Blush warm up a neutral room. Sky is the one cool note in the range.
