The casting is lovely — you can actually trace the veins in the wings with a fingernail, and it stands up on its own six legs with the body lifted clear of the shelf. Mine lives on the kitchen windowsill and throws a great shadow around ten in the morning.

Very small. This item is small and has no place to attatch it as a necklace or knob. It just sits there. I didn't think it was worth the gas to return it. Too small for a paperweight as well. )
