Drop is the opposite kind of object. It is cast from solid bronze in a single piece — crown, body and loop together — 5.2 cm tall and noticeably heavier in the hand than it looks. Care

Almost nothing to do. A dry cloth is all it asks when it picks up dust. Leave the antiqued finish alone and let it work: over a year of living with it, the lip and the top of the dome come up brighter and warmer wherever hands and hardware touch them, while the recesses stay dark. That growing contrast is the finish doing exactly what it is meant to.
