A soft lane of dense tufted pile running the length of your bed changes how every barefoot journey through the room feels. This bedside runner rug makes the first steps of the morning and the last steps of the night land warm instead of on cold floor, so every step from pillow to door is gentler. A non-slip backing keeps it firmly in place, and it is machine-washable for real life. Choose from three quiet patterns that sit easily in a calm bedroom, so the runner blends in rather than shouting for attention.

  • Dense tufted pile runs the full length of the bed
  • Every barefoot step lands warm, not cold
  • Non-slip backed and machine-washable
  • Three quiet patterns for a calm bedroom

Non-slip backing beneath tufted plush

Overview

You cross the cold floor beside your bed every morning and again at night, making it a frequently walked part of the home. Alder covers that strip with low, dense tufted pile, offering softness throughout the route between pillow and door. A coated underside grips the floor to resist creeping, while the short pile fits neatly beneath the frame of your bed. For cleaning, roll the runner and put it in the washing machine. Its three subdued patterns have a woven appearance that fits with the room rather than looking like something added afterwards.

Care

Roll into the machine drum, without folding; choose a cold, gentle wash. Air-dry flat or tumble-dry low. Between washes, vacuum at low power. After unpacking, leave flat for one day to let creases settle.

Materials

Tufted plush with a short, dense pile covers a coated, non-slip underside. Approximately 50 × 160 cm, shaped as a bedside runner. Warm greige options: Stripe, Line Blocks, or Dot.

From recovery nights to everyday sleep, our customers choose structure that holds up.

Covers the whole side of the bed

Every rug we tried was either a tiny mat or a huge area rug. This is exactly the missing size — the full lane where I actually walk. The stripe pattern reads like woven linen from standing height.

Went through the wash like a towel

Coffee spill in week two. Rolled it up, cold gentle cycle, dried flat overnight — came out looking new and still lies dead flat. No sliding on our oak boards either.

Quiet pattern, big difference

Got the dot for the guest room and the line blocks for ours. They ground the whole bed wall without shouting. My husband stopped complaining about cold feet, which is the real review.

Frequently asked questions

How large is this floor runner?
Around 50 × 160 cm, it fits beside a queen or double bed to cover the stretch of floor used for standing and walking along that side.
Does it stay put on wood flooring?
A non-slip coating beneath the rug grips concrete, wood and tile. With ordinary everyday use, the runner remains in the position where you placed it.
Is washing it in a machine suitable?
Yes. Roll it for a gentle cold wash, then air-dry flat or tumble-dry low. Its closely packed, short pile stays brushed rather than matting.
Could the pile get in the way of a bed frame or door?
No. Short, dense pile keeps the profile low enough to fit beneath most bed frames and allow a bedroom door to open over it.
What pattern works for an understated bedroom?
Warm greige gives all three patterns a neutral, woven appearance. Stripe has a linen-like look; Line Blocks offers architectural geometry; Dot introduces a gentle repeated pattern without adding colour.
Can it suit other rooms too?
Yes. Its long runner format works beside a cot, alongside a kitchen counter, across the front of a sofa or through a hallway.
