Like moonlight on a dimmer
We mounted one each side of the bed. Looking straight at it doesn't sting — it's just a soft ball of light. Reading, night feeds, everything got gentler.

My nightstand is a nightstand again
The old lamp ate half the surface. Now it's a book, a glass of water and a clean run of oak. Should have done this years ago.

Prettier than the designer one
We almost bought the famous version at four times the price. The blush disc against limewash is exactly the picture. Both fitted in under an hour.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need wiring?
Yes — Orb™ is a hardwired wall fixture. Any electrician can fit one in about twenty minutes with the included disc mount and fixings.
How big is the globe?
12 cm across — grapefruit-sized — on a matching 12 cm disc. Small enough for the narrowest strip of wall beside a bed or mirror.
Is the light warm?
Warm — the milky glass adds its own softness, so the glow lands golden and low, right for the last hour of the day.
Can I look straight at it?
Yes — that's the point of opal glass. The whole sphere lights evenly, so there's no filament, no hotspot, nothing to sting your eyes from the pillow.
Which disc colour should I choose?
Cream disappears into limewash and leads with pure light. Sage and Blush read as a quiet halo of colour around the moon. Charcoal draws the crispest ring.
Is the glass fragile?
It's thick pressed opal glass, and it lives on the wall — out of the reach of elbows and bedside knocks. Support it with both hands when lifting it off for cleaning.
