Talus Adjustable Bed Wedge

Stacked pillows do not keep their angle: they slide apart as soon as you relax. Talus takes their place with an adjustable 3-piece wedge set that locks together and stays in position through the night. A wide hook-and-loop strap joins two velvet wedge bases and a contoured memory-foam headrest, so the incline you choose stays up and does not collapse.

The three pieces can be arranged in 20 supported positions: a low incline for sleeping with the upper body raised, a high incline for sitting up to read or rest, knee and leg elevation with firm support, or a combined head-and-knee arrangement. The quilted air-layer covers unzip for washing, and the set folds flat and has a built-in handle.

Assembled size is 60 x 66 x 30.5 cm, with a 22 cm contoured headrest. It is made for resting with the upper body raised, reading upright, supported knee and leg elevation, and for anyone tired of rearranging a heap of pillows.

Foam Cores: All three pieces are made from supportive memory foam selected to keep its shape under the full weight of the upper body. The wedge bases are firm enough to keep their incline for sitting and sleeping. The contoured headrest is softer, so it cushions the head and neck without flattening the angle below it.

Strap-Lock System: A wide hook-and-loop strap with adjustable fabric buckles crosses the assembled pieces and holds each arrangement in position. That is the structural difference between Talus and a stack of pillows: the pieces cannot slide apart in the night. Adjusting the strap for a new arrangement takes seconds.

Covers: The top pillow has a breathable, quilted air-layer polyester cover that lets air move between the body and the foam. The wedge bases have a soft grey-blue velvet cover that resists sliding on bedding. Every cover comes off with a full-length zip and is machine washable.

Portability: The set folds flat and is carried by a built-in handle, which is practical for moving it from room to room or storing it between uses.

Take off every cover using its zip. Machine wash the covers cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, then air dry them flat or tumble dry on low. With regular use, wash the covers every 3–4 weeks. Do not wash the foam cores. If one gets damp, blot it with a towel and let it air dry completely before putting the cover back on. Clean marks on the foam with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. New foam can have a faint odour, so air the pieces for 24–48 hours in a ventilated room, away from direct sunlight, before first use. Store the set folded flat with the strap, or standing upright, and avoid leaving heavy items on the foam for long periods. If the hook-and-loop strap stops gripping, brush it with a soft brush to clear the lint.
